AUSTRALIA BURNING, HUNDREDS OF EARTHQUAKES ROCK PUERTO RICO, NATIONS ANGRY AND AT WAR, THOUSANDS DEAD FROM DISEASE IN CONGO - MATTHEW 24 - IT IS NEAR, EVEN AT THE DOOR!

There have been wars, earthquakes, disease and famine all throughout history. But Jesus said something very interesting in Matthew 24 which tells us what we are seeing today is a sign that His return is 'near, even at the door.' The disciples asked the question ... "what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?" (Matthew 24:3) And Jesus responds by giving them signs ... "false Christs, wars and rumours of war, nation rising against nation, famine, pestilence and earthquakes in diverse places. Persecution, iniquity abounding and love waxing cold. Also the gospel going to the world." In of themselves, these things have been taking place for thousands of years. But look at what Jesus said at the end of the signs given:

Matthew 24:32-33 ...'Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see ALL these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.'

There have been people throughout the past 2000 years who have seen individual signs, even maybe a few signs, thinking that the end is near. But Jesus said those who see ALL the signs are the ones living in the time when the second coming is "near, even at the door." And this generation today is the first generation to see ALL the signs take place at the same time. And what did Jesus say about this generation who sees ALL the signs? ... "This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled." (vs.34) That includes the SECOND COMING!

Just look at some of the things happening in the world today:

"Australia Is Burning Like Never Before - Australia launched its largest military operation since World War II this weekend, not against a human enemy but to combat the bushfire crisis sweeping the country. Thus far, 23 people have died as 140 blazes have devoured more over 12 million acres." (source)

"Why are so many earthquakes rocking Puerto Rico? - In the predawn hours of January 7, residents across the island of Puerto Rico were jolted awake as a magnitude 6.4 earthquake rocked the region ... and since December 28, more than 400 earthquakes of magnitude 2 or greater have rolled through the area ... The events have wreaked havoc in a community still recovering from devastation in the wake of hurricanes Maria and Irma." (source)

"Measles outbreak: 6000 dead in Congo - The World Health Organisation has now called for more funds to save lives during the world's worst outbreak of the infectious disease. Measles has killed nearly three times as many people in Congo than an Ebola outbreak in the country." (source)

This is just a very small selection of what is happening across the world. Yes, there have been these things happening all throughout the past 2000 years. But never before have we seen ALL these things happening AT THE SAME TIME like today. War, famine, disease, earthquakes, persecution, iniquity abounding, gospel going to the world. All these things are happening all at the same time today and at an intensity never seen before. Just look at the sin and wickedness that is abounding in this world today! God destroyed the earth via a flood in Noah's day, because He could not let it continue in the wickedness it was. We are in the same place today! But God is going to destroy the world with fire this time.

Revelation 11:18 ...'And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.'

Are the nations angry? Yes, like never before! - 2019 is being touted as THE YEAR OF PROTESTS IN EVERY CORNER OF THE EARTH! (source)

There are other signs given in other books of the Bible, and all of these are also taking place in our day today. So no one will be able to have an excuse if we are not ready and prepared for Christ's return, as the signs are clear for all to see that the second coming is 'at the door.'

Daniel 12:4 says "knowledge shall be increased."

1 Timothy 4:1 says "many shall depart from the faith."

Hosea 4:3 says "the land shall mourn with with the beasts of the field, fowls of heaven and fishes of the sea taken away."

Luke 21:25-26 says "upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring."

1 Thessalonians 5:3 says the world will be pushing for "peace and safety."

2 Timothy 4:3-4 says "the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth."

2 Timothy 3:1-5 says "in the last days men shall be lovers of their own selves, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God"

ALL of these things are being fulfilled AT THE SAME TIME right before our eyes! And don't forget the 'mockers' just as Peter prophesied ... 2 Peter 3:3-4 ...'Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying, where is the promise of his coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.' ... Oh how perfectly the Word of God comes to pass!

If you have eyes to see, I urge you to completely surrender your life to the Lord Jesus Christ. This world is passing away and everything in it is going to turn to dust! So I ask you, are you still holding on to anything in this world? If so, you are holding onto dust! It's time to let it go and give your ALL to God, allowing Him to perfect your character, ready for the final time of trouble coming to this world, and ready for heaven itself. Please don't delay. Time is running out.
