CREATION WOULD NEED TO BE GONE THROUGH AGAIN TO BE ABLE TO CHANGE THE SABBATH DAY - THE IMMOVABLE LINK BETWEEN CREATION AND THE SABBATH

The seventh day Sabbath is IMMOVABLY attached to creation and the Sabbath can NEVER be the first day of the week. Why? Let us take a look.

The Sabbath was MADE FOR MAN, not for the Jews (Mark 2:27). And when was the seventh day Sabbath made? During creation. We know this because not only does the Word of God tell us that on the seventh day of creation, God rested and "BLESSED" and "SANCTIFIED" the seventh day (Genesis 2:2-3), but also that God told us in the 4th commandment that the seventh day of creation week IS the weekly Sabbath day:

Exodus 20:8-11 ...'Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and RESTED THE SEVENTH DAY: WHEREFORE THE LORD BLESSED THE SABBATH DAY, AND HALLOWED IT.'

Do you see? God calls the seventh day of creation "THE SABBATH DAY." This is all part of the 4th commandment to keep EVERY seventh day holy, and God clearly links the weekly sabbath of the 4th commandment to the 7th day of creation week, clearly confirming that the seventh day of creation week WAS and IS the weekly sabbath day rest of God. LONG before there was any "Jew" in the world.

Thus, the seventh day Sabbath is forever linked to creation and thus in order to change the sabbath day to any other day, you would have to go through creation all over from scratch!

Can YOU do that? Do YOU have the authority and power to change the word of God or recreate this world from scratch? No? Then you had better recognize the authority and creative and redemptive power of our heavenly Father through His only begotten Son and keep HIS holy Sabbath day, the 7th day of the week (our Saturday today). And yes, we have pages showing that our 'Saturday' is the 7th day of the week from the Bible - SEE HERE and HERE.

Even if creation was started over, the Sabbath day could NEVER be the first day of the week, because the first day would be a creating day - a work day. And thus it could NEVER be a rest day in the eyes of God. And it can NEVER be a true rest day for us, because our rest is in our Creator, our Heavenly Father and we can only truly rest in HIS rest. The first day of the week can NEVER be that rest, as it would ALWAYS we a work/creating day. And as God has not gone through creation all over again, then it "remains" that the seventh day of the week is the Holy Sabbath rest of God (Hebrews 4). Remember, to truly enter into God's rest, is to TRUST in His Word and obey. There is no rest in disobedience!

The Sabbath day is NOT the day of the Jews, it is God's holy day (Isaiah 58:13). It is NOT a day we can choose ourselves, as creation and salvation is of God, not of ourselves. The disciples had NO power to change it (and they didn't). The Pope has NO power to change it (he only thinks he has). It is GOD's HOLY DAY ... "THE HOLY OF THE LORD," as the following scripture clearly confirms:

Isaiah 58:13-14 ...'If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on MY HOLY DAY; and call the sabbath a delight, THE HOLY OF THE LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: THEN shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.'

"THEN" .... when we recognize the authority and power of our Creator, and keep HIS WORD, rather than the faulty word of sinful man, will we delight ourselves in the LORD. Let us not make the same mistake as Eve, who thought she could go against the express command of Jehovah and still have life. It is the devil who seeks to turn us away from a 'thus saith the LORD.'

The sabbath can ONLY be truly kept, acceptable to our heavenly Father, on the seventh day of the week. This is the same world that God created in Genesis 1, albeit marred by sin, and we have the SAME weekly cycle as in creation week, with the SAME holy day of God - the seventh day (our Saturday). NO MAN can change any of that! And the fact that the Roman Catholic Church and Protestant churches continue to choose the one day (first day) that is an IMPOSSIBILIY to be the holy REST day of our Creator, shows that they are living by their own authority and not the authority of Jehovah.

Ecclesiastes 12:1,13,14 ...'Remember now thy Creator ... Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of MAN. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.'

Revelation 14:7,12 ...'Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters ... Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.'

That warning isn't just for the Jews of the flesh. It is for the whole world, for the SALVATION of the world, LOOK ... 'And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters ... Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus' (Revelation 14:6-12).

The seventh day Sabbath was 'made for MANKIND' (Mark 2:27) - It was included in the commandments of God, and the 'whole duty of MANKIND' is to 'KEEP the commandments of God' - our CREATOR (Ecc.12:13, Rev.14:6-12).

The very mark of the beast is to bow to man's authority over the authority of God! The Sabbath commandment reveals who it is we are to worship - our Creator. Keeping Sunday reveals who most of the churches worship - MAN - more specifically, Papal Rome, the very power that forced Sunday keeping onto the world and the churches. It is time to serve God, not man!
