The TRUTH About Antichrist
What did the great John the Baptist once say? ... "I must decrease, so that He [Christ] can increase.
So here we have a picture of Jesus Christ, the Son of God and the Saviour of the world, being the humble meek person He was. And we also have the Roman Catholic Pope, who is just a mortal, sinful man, and yet highly adored and exalted as being "in place of" Christ on earth.
Fact: The Word "Anti" in Anti-Christ also means someone who has put himself IN PLACE OF Christ.
Have the principles of Jesus Christ that He taught us changed? Since when was Jesus Christ replaced as being our ONLY recipient of worship and adoration? And why are there BILLIONS of people around the world who follow and adore this Roman Catholic Pope and exalt him to a place where he should not be? I'll tell you why ... because the Bible said it would happen ...
2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 ... 'Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.'
Let's look at the facts that so many people ignore today:
Daniel 7 speaks of an "antichrist" little horn power that would arise and magnify itself in the place of God. It would also persecute and kill the saints of God, and it would try to change the very laws of God. FULFILLED BY THE POPES AND ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH.
1 John 2:18-19 says that "antichrists" went out FROM THE CHURCH in Bible times, suggesting that the main antichrist we are looking for would deceive FROM WITHIN the professed Christian Church. FULFILLED BY THE POPES AND ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH.
2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 says that the man of sin is called "the son of perdition". And there is only one other person in the Bible called by that name, Judas! (John 17:12). Again, suggesting that the man of sin would be a deceiver from WITHIN THE CHURCH. FULFILLED BY THE POPES AND ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH.
Revelation 17 and 18 describes a woman (whore) called Baylon the Great, the MOTHER of Harlots (Representing an apostate church). And this woman is guilty of fornication with the kings [leaders] of the world, and of deceiving the inhabitants of the world, and also of sheding the blood of God's people. She is also arrayed [clothed] in the colours Purple and Scarlet. FULFILLED BY THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH.
The great protestant reformers knew exactly who the main end time Bible antichrist was, because God revealed that truth to them. And the Bible CLEARLY reveals who this antichrist is. We are not talking about one man, as in the current Pope. We are talking about the whole system of the Papal Church of Rome, with the Pope as the leader of this antichrist church.
So many people are waiting for this future antichrist to come along, and yet the main antichrist (Papacy) has been with us for a long time. But that is what Satan is all about. He is the great deceiver, and he is deceiving the masses to look in completely the wrong place for the antichrist.
God is calling His people OUT of Babylon. Out of the Roman Catholic Church and any other faith or Protestant church that has fallen in with "the mother church". It's time to see the truth and heed the call! Jesus is waiting for you.
