THE MARK, NAME AND NUMBER OF THE BEAST DECEPTION - IT'S MORE THAN YOU THINK!

Most people tend to focus in on one thing regarding the mark of the beast deception and fail to realize that there is a much wider issue at stake. Take a look at the following Bible verses surrounding the mark of the beast:

Revelation 15:2-3 ...'And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had GOTTEN THE VICTORY OVER THE BEAST, AND OVER HIS IMAGE, AND OVER HIS MARK, AND OVER THE NUMBER OF HIS NAME, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.'

Revelation 13:16-17 ...'And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, OR the name of the beast, OR the number of his name.'

I hope you can see from these verses that it is much more than JUST the mark of the beast. Revelation 15 says that God's end time saints get victory over the BEAST, AND the IMAGE OF THE BEAST, AND the MARK OF THE BEAST, AND the NUMBER of the NAME OF THE BEAST. And Revelation 13 says that you can continue to buy and sell if you have the mark OR the name OR the number of the beast. Do you see this is much more than just the mark itself?

Have you ever read Revelation 15 and thought, what does it mean to get victory over the number of the name of the beast? Revelation 13:18 says that the number of the beast is 666. And 666 is NOT the mark of the beast, it is the NUMBER of the name of the beast. So how do you get victory, as Revelation 15 says, over the number of the beast? Over 666? Ever thought of that? Well, what is the number 666 according to Revelation 13? It is the 'number of a MAN.' So everything connected with the beast, whether it is the image of the beast, the mark, or the name, or the number, they are all things that are thought up by MAN. They are NOT the ways of God, even though people might falsely proclaim them to be. No. They are ALL the ways of MAN and are NOT in line with a thus saith the LORD. So the root of this issue is putting ANY of the ways, teachings and laws of man in place of the ways, teachings, laws of Jehovah, our God. And as we explore this, you will see that this will hit closer to home than many realise.

If you study who the first beast of Revelation 13 is, the beast whose mark is to be enforced and whose image and number and name many will give allegiance to. You will see that this beast is none other than PAPAL ROME, with the pope as that MAN OF SIN leading the beast power. Now something that the popes have proclaimed throughout history is that they and the Roman Catholic Church have power to change the Word of God. This is what Daniel prophesied in Daniel 7:25 concerning the antichrist little horn power ... 'And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws.' Times and laws of God, just as Papal Rome has boasted as per the following statements:

'As a result the Church, to whom the transmission and interpretation of Revelation is entrusted, 'does not derive her certainty about all revealed truths from the holy Scriptures alone. Both Scripture and Tradition must be accepted and honored with equal sentiments of devotion and reverence.' (Catholic Catechism, No.82)

'Question. Have you any other way of proving that the church has power to institute festivals of precept? Answer. Had she not such power, she could not have done that in which all modern religionists agree with her - she could not have substituted the observance of Sunday, the first day of the week, for the observance of Saturday, the seventh day, a change for which there is no Scriptural authority.' (Doctrinal Catechism, Rev. Stephen Keenan (Kenedy, New York), p. 174)

Now these are clearly blesphemous statements, because as Jesus said in Matthew 28:18 ...'ALL POWER is given unto ME in heaven and in earth.' Jesus is the ONLY one given all power and even HE would NOT change the Word of His heavenly Father.

But listen! Many of God's professed people are doing that very thing! If we say, 'I can choose my own Sabbath day' or 'I can worship God the way I want' or in ANY aspect of our lives, 'I can serve God the way I want,' we are then proclaiming the same as the BEAST! That we have POWER to CHANGE the Word of God! And THAT will put us under the mark, or name or number of the beast!

What was Satan's words to Eve in the garden when Eve was near the tree of knowledge of good and evil? God had told them that if they ate from that tree, they would die. But Satan said ... 'Ye shall not surely die' (Genesis 3:4). In other words, Satan pretty much said ... 'did God REALLY say that? Does He REALLY mean it? No, don't worry, God will still love you and you won't die.' And this is the same thought in most people today. Instead of taking the literal Word of God and living by it, we listen to the serpent instead and say, it doesn't really matter, God will still love us and save us. What did Satan also say? 'ye shall be as gods' (Genesis 3:5). We all want to be 'gods' choosing our OWN way to heaven, and this places us right into the number of the name of the beast - the number of A MAN - following SELF and the ways of MAN instead of the ways of God. This is the ROOT issue of the mark, name and number of the beast. Choosing our own way, which is the way of man, rather than choosing the way of Christ. It's allowing the sinful heart to reign, rather than allowing Christ to reign in our hearts and minds, making us OBEDIENT to every Word of God.

This applies to ANYTHING we do in life. If God says 'this is the way, walk ye in it,' and we choose our own way, or follow the way of MAN, then we are proclaiming the SAME as Papal Rome (the beast), saying we have power to change the Word of God. And thus we will be placed on the side of the beast, NOT on the side of Christ.

Let us look at an example of this. This example, I believe, is the biggest curse upon the world and the churches today. Entertainment! So many of God's professed people do not understand the damage that is being done to their spiritual lives due to the world's entertainment they immerse themselves in. And they also do not understand that by partaking of the world's entertainment, they are actually placing themselves on the side of the beast. So let us look at that. What is Babylon charged with in Revelation 17 and 18?

Revelation 17:1-2 ...'And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.'

Revelation 18:1-3 ...'And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.'

This is one of the evidences that Babylon represents the apostate CHURCHES of the world, because you have to be united (married) to God in the first place to be charged with fornication with the world against Him. Anything else that is of the world CANNOT commit fornication with the world, because it is already OF the world. Babylon can ONLY be something that at least professes to be united and married to Christ. So it must be the various churches, with the Roman Catholic Church as the 'mother of harlots.' So Babylon, the fallen churches, are charged with spiritual fornication against God. And as the apostle Paul said in Ephesians 5:1-11, no 'whoremonger' (fornicator - physical and spiritual) has any inheritance in the kingdom of God. So this is a very serious matter.

Ephesians 5:1-11 ...'Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.'

How many things in life does fornication, (whoremongering), coveting and idolatry cover? They cover EVERY aspect of our lives. Ok, so let us apply this fornication to entertainment. Do you know who brought about entertainment in this world? It was Roman Catholic Jesuits. Take a look at the following quotes:

"THE INFLUENCE OF THE JESUITS ON EARLY MODERN DRAMA CANNOT BE OVERSTATED. Jesuit theater was the professional theater in the Holy Roman Empire in the seventeenth century ... JESUITS INVENTED a wide variety of theatrical architectural styles, design, and scenographic elements, and special effects for the stage ... From 1551, when the first Jesuit play was performed, to 1773, when the order was suppressed, THE JESUITS WANTED TO MAKE GOOD CATHOLICS AND MORE JESUITS." We can include sports alongside entertainment in this example also. Now, even though sports wasn't invented by the Jesuits, it was made popular in the Greek empire. So sports wasn't invented by God, it was invented by Pagans. But guess who receives sports personalities and movie celebrities to congratulate them, supporting what they do? The Popes of Rome! Sports and movie celebrities are regularly invited to the Vatican.

Not only is the world's entertainment the "unfruitful works of darkness," what are we doing by turning to entertainment or sports for joy and pleasure in our lives? Are we turning to God and seeking God to fill us with joy and pleasure, or are we turning to the WORLD for it? Did entertainment and sports come from God? No. It came from the Jesuits and from Pagans. Look at what the Word of God says regarding where we should be getting our joy and pleasure from:

Romans 15:13 ...'Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.'

Psalm 16:11 ...'Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.'

John 15:10-11 ...'If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.'

How much joy and pleasure is God, through Christ, able to give us? ALL joy and pleasure. FULL joy and pleasure. How much joy and pleasure does that leave for us to need? NONE! So what are we doing by going to the WORLD to fill us with joy and pleasure, when God's word tells us that we can AND SHOULD receive ALL joy and pleasure from God through Christ? We are telling God that His joy and pleasure is not enough and we are therefore committing FORNICATION WITH THE WORLD, just like the fallen churches of Babylon and we are then placing ourselves under the 'name and number of the beast' - the number of a MAN. We are ultmately turning to MAN to fill our needs, rather than God. THIS is all part of the deception of the beast, his image, his mark, name and number. ALL of which the saints of God are to get VICTORY OVER, as Revelation 15 confirms.

If we are turning to the WORLD or MAN instead of God in ANY aspect of our lives, then we are placing ourselves under the 'name and number' of the beast and are committing fornication against God, just like fallen Babylon.

Look at what happened during C.O.V.I.D. Most people in the churches turned to MAN and relied upon MAN to "save them" from illness, rather than simply trusting in God, and living according to HIS health laws and trusting in HIS healing power to save. This is the ROOT issue regarding the mark, name and number of the beast deception - turning to MAN in ANY aspect of our lives, rather than God. But back to entertainment.

In Ephesians 5:25-27, the apostle Paul said that Jesus is coming back for a church that is 'without spot or blemish.' And yet the WORLD'S entertainment that many of God's professed people are involved in, is a HUGE spot and blemish upon them. A spot and blemish that places them under the name of the beast, rather than the name of our heavenly Father, which the 144,000 have, as Revelation 14 confirms.

We must ask ourselves - Are our daily habits strengthening or weakening our relationship with Christ? Are our daily habits strengthening or weakening our minds? Are our daily habits strengthening or weakening our bodies? These are serious questions to ask ourselves.

2 Corinthians 13:5 ...'Examine yourselves, whether ye be in THE faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?'

Are we in THE faith? The faith of Jesus Christ? (Revelation 14:12). Are we following THE way, THE truth, THE life? (John 14:6). Satan and the fallen churches of Babylon will have you believe there are many ways to heaven. Many will even claim that Jesus is the ONLY way, and yet at the same time say you don't need to follow Jesus in everything. This is all part of the mark, name and number of the beast deception. It isn't just the mark we need victory over. We need victory over the beast, it's image, it's mark, name AND number - the number of a MAN. Are YOU following MAN in any aspect of life? Are you turning to MAN rather than God for anything, like joy and pleasure? Look at what Jesus said:

John 5:19,30,34,41,44 ...'Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise ... I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me ... But I receive not testimony from man ... I receive not honour from men ... How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?'

John 8:28 ...'Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.'

There was NOTHING of self in Jesus. No dependence upon MAN. No following MAN or the ways of MAN. Just full and complete dependence upon His heavenly Father, and DOING as His Father spoke and lead Him, receiving the joy that His heavenly Father gave Him. THIS is the 'faith of Jesus' that the end time saints of God are to have. THIS is how we gain victory over the beast, his image, mark, name and number. This isn't just about the Sunday law, or the trinity. It is about the renewed heart and mind that follows Christ 'wheresoever He goeth' (Rev.14:4) and puts God first in EVERYTHING. No longer seeking the joy and pleasures that the world (MAN) offers. But instead being FILLED with the full and complete joy and pleasures that our heavenly Father wants to give us. No longer trusting in the world (MAN) for our health. But instead trusting in our heavenly Father and the health message He gave for us. No longer trusting in the world for our daily needs. But instead, seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and trusting that all our needs will be met by God. (Matthew 6:31-33).

We may think we are safe because we "know the truth about the Sabbath day" or we "know the truth about the one true God." But if we are not gaining victory over the sinful heart of man and the world in other areas of our lives, then how could it be said of us that we got victory over the beast AND it's image AND it's mark AND the number of his name? It couldn't. We must gain victory over sin and the world in EVERY aspect of our lives, through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.

John 15:11 ...'These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.'

Galatians 2:20 ...'I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.'

Revelation 14:12 ...'Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.'

May our daily desire and prayer be ... 'Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.' (Psalm 51:10)
