NEWS UPDATE - July 2019

Hebrews 12:26 ...'But now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.'

Matthew 24:42-44 ...'WATCH THEREFORE: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come ... Therefore BE YE ALSO READY: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.'

I don't usually report on earthquakes, due to the fact that there are bigger 'earthquakes' taking place in the religious and political world, pointing to the final events and soon return of our Lord Jesus Christ. But we have had so many earthquakes take place the past couple of weeks, that I felt the need to report on it. Take a look at the following list of earthquake events during the past week or so:

16th JULY - Bali Hit By Huge 6.2 Magnitude Earthquake

16th JULY - 5.6 magnitude earthquake Rattles Guam

16th JULY - More than 70 earthquakes measuring 4.0+ in California since July 4

15th JULY - Quake of magnitude 6.4 strikes off Papua New Guinea

14th JULY - Magnitude 7.3 earthquake causes panic in eastern Indonesia

14th JULY - Record 6.6 magnitude earthquake strikes off Kimberley coast, Australia

13th JULY - Strong magnitude 6.1 earthquake strikes Japan

12th JULY - 6.0 magnitude earthquake shakes Papua New Guinea

These are not small earthquakes, and we seem to be getting them on a daily basis. As many people know, California experienced a big 7.1 magnitude earthquakes 2 weeks ago. But not many people know that there have been thousands of tremors since then.

Does this mean Jesus could return next week, or next month? No it doesn't, because there are prophecies like the mark of the beast yet to be fulfilled before Jesus returns.

So what is the point of this? News reports like this one are not designed to stir people's emotions, getting them excited, just to end up being deflated after a while. If you want that, there are plenty of 'exciting' YouTube videos to get your emotions going. But news reports like this one and events like these earthquakes are to stir people's hearts, to wake us up from our slumber and start seeking the truth. Jesus might not return for a number of years yet. But these events and news reports are designed purely to help stir people into getting ready for that day.

Matthew 24:42-44 ...'WATCH THEREFORE: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come ... Therefore BE YE ALSO READY: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.'

And the preparation needed for the time of trouble coming and Christ's return does not happen over night. It takes time. Which is why God gives these warnings now to stir people into getting ready and preparing, by surrendering their lives to Christ. This is the purpose of these kind of news reports.

God is sending warning after warning to wake us up out of our slumber, for us to surrender our all to Christ, allowing Him to prepare us and make us ready for that soon coming day. Will you heed the warnings? Will you seek the truth that is in Jesus Christ the Son of God? Time IS running out for that preparation needed.
