SURVEY SAYS AMERICAN CHRISTIANS ARE MORE CONCERNED WITH POLITICS THAN WITH THE FAITH OF JESUS CHRIST - IMAGE OF THE BEAST PROPHECY FULFILLING!

A recent survey in America has revealed that a large proportion
of professed Christians in America are more concerned with politics than with the faith of Jesus Christ:
"Many pastors say Christians are more loyal to their political party than to the faith: survey - New research reveals that a majority of pastors thinking about stepping away from ministry are concerned that Christians identify more with their political views than their faith, one of several factors causing church leaders to consider leaving their professions ... Barna asked pastors to elaborate on how current political divisions have emerged as a source of stress, causing them to consider stepping away from full-time ministry. Majorities of both mainline (66 percent) and non-mainline Protestant pastors (53 percent) expressed concern that Christians are more loyal to their political views than their faith." (source)
This does not just apply to the congregations, but also to many pastors and church leaders too. But this is no surprise to those who understand Bible prophecy, because in Revelation 13 we were told that the second beast (America) would tell the people to make an image to the first beast (Papal Rome). What is Papal Rome? It is a unity of church and state, with the church directing the state. And so the 'IMAGE' of Papal Rome in America would be just like the original - a church state union with the church directing the state power. This was prophesied to take place and we are seeing it come to pass before our eyes in America. But what did Jude and Peter counsel us to do?
Jude 1:3 ...'Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for THE FAITH which was once delivered unto the saints.'
1 Peter 2:21 ...'For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:'
Now, where did Jesus ever say we are to UNITE with political parties of the world and protest and rise up against government, etc, etc?? What was taking place even when Jesus was on earth? Roman persecution and wickedness, which God's people were hoping Jesus was going to free them from. Now can anyone show me any scripture where Jesus led protests against the Roman government? Can you? Can anyone show me any scripture where Jesus told His followers to organise groups and get involved in politics to try and stop the evil of the ruling government? Can you? God's people back in the first centuries were under no less persecution and wickedness at the hands of Rome than God's people today. Yet can you show me where the disciples of Christ got involved in politics, rising up against the government? You can't, because it didn't happen. Why? Because this is NOT the will of God for us.
Jesus said ... "My kingdom is not of this world: IF my kingdom were of this world, THEN would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: BUT now is my kingdom not from hence" (John 18:36).
It is NOT the will of God for us to get involved in the affairs of this world, which Satan is the 'god' of (2 Corinthians 4:4). Our only concern is to follow our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, to walk as He walked, just as Peter counselled us above, and shine His light unto the world around us through the truth of the gospel, through the way we speak and the way we act, being keepers of God's commandments, not followers of the world. Listen to the following spoken by the prophet Daniel:
Daniel 2:20-21 ...'Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:'
Does God need our help in setting up or removing leaders? No. So let us leave it to God and trust in His wisdom to work things out in the world. Sadly, God prophesied that there would be this condition of things in the last days, whereby His professed people would unite with the state powers to gain control and end up forcing the world to worship THEIR OWN version of Christianity, just like Papal Rome did during the dark ages. Revelation 13 speaks all about this through the image of the beast that America would set up and cause the world to worship it and take Rome's mark - the Sunday law, in opposition to God's holy 7th day Sabbath.
Friends, the final conflict is all to do with WORSHIP and GOD's LAW. Look:
Revelation 13-14 ...'And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to WORSHIP the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed ... And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not WORSHIP the image of the beast should be killed ... And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man WORSHIP the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God...'
'... Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.'
Who's authority will you submit to? Man or our Heavenly Father? Who will you worship? The fallen churches of Babylon or our Heavenly Father? Who's commandments will you keep? The commandments of men or the commandments of GOD? Those who worship God and keep His commandments will receive the seal of God. Those who follow and worship the fallen churches and keep their commandments will receive the mark of the beast.
