WHILE CHURCH LEADERS CONGRATULATE THEMSELVES FOR THEIR ECUMENICAL EFFORTS, THEIR CHURCHES ARE DROWNING IN SIN AND WORLDLINESS!
NEWS UPDATE - 29th June 2022
I do not take this kind of report lightly, but the warning message must be given just as God gave His warning messages through Elijah and the prophets of old to His people. We are living in serious, solemn times, right at the precipice of the final delusion, the time of trouble and the second coming of Christ. And yet instead of making the necessary preparation to be ready in Christ, the professed people of God are sinking deeper and deeper into worldliness, while the leaders congratulate themselves for their ecumenical efforts.
In the picture (larger picture HERE) you see General Conference leaders giving and receiving awards for their participation in the so called "religious liberty" field, which is a cloak name for ecumenism! This took place during a meeting with leaders from the fallen churches of Babylon, to quote ... "strengthen ties". Let us look at some quotes from the article:
"Refusing to Be Silent in the Face of Evil - In partnership with church departments, community leaders, lawmakers, state leaders, public officials, national institutions like the United Nations, and PARL leaders in the 13 church divisions throughout the world, PARL is also an active advocate for public policy issues ... On Thursday afternoon, at the 61st GC Session in St. Louis, Missouri, PARL hosted a luncheon to strengthen relationships between PARL directors and engage with public officials and key religious leaders ... representing some of the meaningful connections PARL has made with influential representatives across the globe were the Secretary of the Global Christian Forum Dr. Casely Essamuah, Salvation Army Representative Colonel Kenneth Johnson, Baptist World Alliance Representative Rev. Everton Jackson ... Diop awarded several individuals for their choice to serve in the public arena." (source)
"Refusing to be silent in the face of evil"?? What about the evils filling the churches today? What about the SILENCE in regard to that?
There are so many things wrong with this picture. The "partnership" with the world and political leaders. The "strengthening of relationships" with the fallen churches of Babylon. And also giving each other awards that they can hang on their walls at home and think very highly of themselves. Did you ever read of Jesus doing any of these things? Did you ever read of the prophets or apostles doing any of these things? No, instead they warned against these things:
James 4:4 ...'Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.'
Jeremiah 10:2 ...'Thus saith the Lord, Learn NOT the way of the heathen.'
2 Corinthians 6:14-17 ...'Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.'
"We are to enter into no confederacy with the world, supposing that by so doing we could accomplish more." (Testimonies for the Church, Volume 8, p.160)
"We are to enter into no confederacy with those who do not love or fear God." (Review and Herald, Nov.18, 1902, pgr.2)
The above quotes should alone silence any debate on this topic. Our reliance should be upon Jehovah ALONE and any deviation from that shows a lack of faith and is sin. And this leads me onto the main issue of this post. While the church leaders are focused on their 'relationships' with other churches and partnering with political leaders, congratulating each other and giving each other awards, they have become blinded to the fact that the churches they are supposed to lead and care for are literally DROWNING in sin and worldliness!
All forms of worldliness have entered the churches today. God's professed people look to the world for inspiration, rather than a "thus saith the LORD." The world's standards in worship, music, dress, conversation, eating, recreation and so on have been adopted by the churches. And where is the "refusing to be silent in the face of evil" from the leaders in this regard? They are silent! And the most tragic thing of all is that those who stand up for the truth, like the truth about God the Father and His Son, exposing the false trinity god in the church, they are CAST OUT of the churches, while the SIN and SINNERS are embraced and accepted!
The call to separate from the world and Babylon is a message from God!
This message of truth to "come out of Babylon" (Rev.18:4) and to separate from the world is from Jehovah Himself to all His people. It is given to prepare for Him a people to be ready for Jesus at His soon return and to enter that holy heavenly abode. This message teaches simplicity, plainness, meekness, humility and godliness in life, in character, in conduct, in habits, in dress, in eating, in drinking, in recreation, in everything pertaining to life and godliness. The apostle Peter said the following for us:
2 Peter 3:11-12 ...'Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?'
All the following after the world, of the fashions of the world, whether in dress, in food, in amusement, in church procedure, in music, in education, in medical/healing practice, in reading, or in any other direction, is offering strange fire to God. God has His own methods for carrying forward His work. We do not need to adopt human methods. He has His own standards for His people. To adopt worldly standards is to turn our backs upon Him!
We only need to compare church standards now with the standards of God's Word and our church pioneers to see how far God's professed people and churches have drifted away. More time is spent on the altar of pleasure than on the altar of sacrifice and holiness. Look at the dress of God's people today. A marked characteristic of this time is immodest exposure of the person, a display of physical charms, an accentuation of every bodily part which is calculated to create - what shall I say? admiration? I do not need to tell you. Your flesh is as my flesh. The impulses and cravings inherent in fallen human nature are not unknown to you. No one can dress in such a way as to call attention to and accentuate the sensual, the fleshly, the physical, and then look with apparent innocence into my eyes and tell me he or she does not know what they are doing! He or she does know what they are doing! They are not bringing glory to God, they are bringing glory to SELF, and causing lust IN THE CHURCH.
Sadly many believe that standards change and we are to move with the times. But this is purely human reasoning and NOT from God, as we can see from what God says on this matter:
Proverbs 22:28 ...'Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set.'
Jeremiah 6:16 ...'Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.'
Malachi 3:6 ...'For I am the Lord, I change not.'
James 1:17 ...'Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.'
As the apostle Paul said in 1 Timothy 2:9-10, we are to "adorn ourselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; But that which becometh professing godliness." We must return in practice to the time when modesty and chastity and sweet simplicity were more than words, and carry out in our lives that which the principles of the gospel demand, separation from the world and its fashions, abandonment of its evil practices, and entire following of our Lord in all matters pertaining to life and godliness.
Today, even the Sabbath has become 'lightly regarded' among many of God's professed people. Unnecessary household duties are performed in the home. Talk of worldly business and sport is undertaken. Merely social gatherings are organized. Shopping, secular reading, TV watching and all forms of worldly cares take place, and there is altogether a sad departure from the earlier faithfulness and loyalty to God's holy command. Yet God has promised a rich blessing to those who truly honor His holy day:
Isaiah 58:13-14 ...'If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: Then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.'
Where is the warning from the leaders of all the evils that have entered the churches? Why are the leaders entering into 'confederacies' with the world and fallen churches, speaking out against the evils in the world and yet remaining SILENT concerning the evils in their own churches? What hypocrisy!! Much repentance needs to take place. TRUE reformation needs to take place among God's professed people. Not reformation according to the world's standards or the standards of the churches of Babylon. But according to the standards of our HOLY GOD JEHOVAH.
Matthew 3:10 ...'And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.'
It's time to wake up people of God! We can no longer trust the church leaders for they are too busy making confederacies with the world and fallen churches to care about the evils in the churches. It is time to follow Jesus Christ and Him alone! This is the characteristic of the end time 144,000 in Revelation 14. They do not follow the churches or the leaders. They have ONE leader whom they follow - Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God. Do you still have any of the world in you? Then let it go and let Jesus cleanse you from all sin and worldly defilement. Time is running out!
Dear friends, it will not be long before the destroying angels are ordered to do their terrible work. There are daily developments all about us which make it absolutely certain that we are rapidly nearing that day when the image of the beast, having received life, will speak and issue its orders for the mark of the beast and death to those who refuse. The whole tendency of our time is UNITY and CONFORMITY. It is demanded by religion, by politics, by capital, by labor, by government. Everything is working together to put the world under the domination of the beast and his image, and to mold things for the last great battle between Christ and Satan. This is no time to drift away from God and His ways. Eternal issues are about to be settled. Jesus is about to rise from His priestly work to come and judge the nations. It is time to "Stand in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein."
Matthew 7:13-14,21-23 ...'Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it ... Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.'
I urge you to read an article from the Review and Herald of 1934 regarding church standards and separation from the world, and heed the message - ARTICLE HERE.
