The more we see and read the news today, the more we see
Revelation 13 being fulfilled, nearing the enforcement of the mark of the beast. The 'deadly wound' to the first beast needed to be healed
before its mark could be enforced, and that healing is near complete:
"Among Protestants and Orthodox, the authority of the pope has eventually prevailed - What can the pope represent for non-Catholic Christians? The question is worth asking during this week of prayer for Christian unity ... If the pope holds any significance in the eyes of Christ's disciples, whether they are Catholic or not, it is by virtue of his legitimacy. Let us return to the essentials: the pope is, first and foremost, the bishop of the church of Rome, with all that this entails. He is the bishop of the church of the Apostles Peter and Paul." The church leaders are merely following the lead of the Pope and his 'human fraternity' goal. But would you see God's prophets uniting with the prophets of Baal seeking a 'common humanity'? Would you see the apostles uniting with the Pharisees seeking a 'common humanity'? Never! Then neither should we unite with any false church or faith.
"Religious unity had fractured with the survival and spread of Protestantism ... The Protestant reformation destroyed the concept of a world order sustained by the 'two swords' of Papacy and empire." (Henry Kissinger, World Order, p.3,20)
What was the 'old empire' that Satan brought about? A world order sustained by the two swords of Papacy and empire - CHURCH AND STATE. This is the 'seven headed beast' of Revelation 13 and 17 - the Papacy - the state run and directed by the church. And what 'destroyed' this world order? The Protestant reformation! Praise God for His intervention there! The Protestant reformation, which was a splitting away (dividing) from that 'mother of harlots', the Roman Catholic Church, brought about the 'mortal wound' to the Papacy and in 1798, the French army brought an end to that 'old empire', which persecuted millions of God's true people.
Now think about it. Without the support of the people, what power really does anyone have? None! And in Revelation 13, the second beast power, which is America, is said to create an IMAGE to the first beast (image of the Papacy), and 'give power to the image', so that it can speak and cause the world to worship the image and take the mark of the Papacy. But with the churches divided, what power could that church-state image in America have? Not a lot, because it would not have the support of the various churches and people. Listen again to what Henry Kissinger said above. The 'dividing', brought about by the Protestant reformation ENDED the power of the old empire of church and state. So what does America and the Roman Catholic Church need in order to give POWER back to the 'two swords' of church and state, the image of the beast in America? UNITY! And it's this ecumenical unity that is bringing about the healing of the mortal wound.
We did a news update back in 2019 showing that the Vatican and America were working together to 'bring back the glory days of church running the state' (SEE HERE). But those so called 'glory days' were the dark ages when the Papacy killed millions of God's people who wouldn't bow to her dictates. This is what is coming back soon!
Anyone who believes the pope is the 'bishop of the church of Peter and Paul,' naturally have to believe that the pope is the bishop of ALL Christians. And this is where the Catholic church is steering this ecumenical movement - to the acknowledgement that the pope is that 'moral voice' in the world which must be heeded. Thankfully, those of us who know the truth, know that the pope is actually that prophesied MAN OF SIN, and is not the bishop of any true Christian. But this healing needed to take place, just as Revelation 13:3 prophesied would happen, after the deadly wound to the Papacy.
You will see that the first beast of Revelation 13, if you read our study on it HERE, is none other than Papal Rome. And for the world to be caused to worship the first beast (Papal Rome) as Revelation 13:12 says, this healing had to have taken place. And it will be Protestants, especially Protestant America, the SECOND beast of Revelation 13 which causes the world to bow to the dictates of the Roman Catholic Church and take her mark. As we can see, we are fast approaching that time. The deadly wound is almost healed and the mark of Papal Rome (her Sunday rest law and false trinity god worship) is soon to be enforced.
